HELLWEG is a single whole.

HELLWEG Corporation is a foreign-invested, integrated logistics and trade services company headquartered in Hangzhou, China. Its bonded and border-port operations run from Xinjiang, with further nodes in Chengdu, Guangzhou and Frankfurt — a network spanning China, Central Asia and Europe.

HELLWEG organises its capabilities into four business divisions: bonded operations and customs, international logistics, trade and finance, and cross-border corporate services. The divisions interlock; a client may enter at any point in the chain and be supported along all of it.

HELLWEG takes its name from the medieval trade route of the same name — the “bright road” across what is now western Germany, along which salt, iron and grain moved for centuries. It was one of continental Europe’s earliest arteries of trade.

The HELLWEG story began at the turn of the millennium, in Germany and in China. To carry the name of an old road is a reminder that the essence of trade has not changed in centuries: goods delivered dependably, and promises kept.

HELLWEG stands on the trade corridor between China and the wider Eurasian continent. The corridor runs both ways: Chinese goods and enterprises move towards Central Asia and Europe, while international brands and products enter the Chinese market.

We serve both directions — offshore and logistics support for Chinese enterprises going global, localisation and supply chain services for international brands coming in. This two-way perspective runs through all four of HELLWEG’s divisions.

HELLWEG’s people are based where the business is — Hangzhou, Urumqi, Khorgos, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Frankfurt. Customs, logistics, finance and corporate specialists work within one system, in Chinese, English and Russian.

We stay deliberately lean: each office is sized to its work, and matters of consequence are always handled in person by senior people fluent in both contexts.

HELLWEG’s core business takes place under customs supervision: warehousing and repair inside comprehensive bonded zones, clearance of cross-border transport, financial arrangements over bonded goods. Getting every step right within the rules is the premise on which all of our business rests.

HELLWEG does not pursue the appearance of scale. It pursues work — every shipment, every transaction — that withstands review.

Cross-border trade depends on infrastructure, and more still on trust — and there is no shortcut to trust.
